Christmas at Skåbu Fjellhotell is all about peace, delicious flavours and a genuine mountain atmosphere

Our Christmas dishes are made using local ingredients and traditions and with care so that you can relax and enjoy the pre-Christmas period in beautiful surroundings.

  • Classic Christmas platter with dessert

    Traditional pork ribs, homemade medisterkaker meat cakes and Christmas sausage. Served with sauerkraut, red cabbage from Vang Gård, Christmas gravy and macerated lingonberries from our good neighbours here in Skåbu. Dessert: Rice cream with cherry sauce.

    Approx. 100 g rakfisk (fermented trout) from Jotunheimen fisk. With amandine potatoes from Vågå, hard boiled eggs, a variety of onions, pickled beetroot, sour cream from Røros, soft flatbread, crispy flatbread from Ødegården Bakeri and soft butter.
