The winter in Skåbu offers a serene mountain atmosphere, beautiful winter landscapes, and enjoyable experiences both indoors and outdoors. Here, you can slow down, savor delicious meals, and take part in small and large events that set the mood.

Doughnut-weekend

  • On the weekends of February 21–23 and February 27–March 1, we’ll be serving donuts in the café. Come and have a taste!

Feburary 21

  • Sledding Day in Skåbu

    Join us for Sledding Day in Skåbu on Saturday, February 21! This is an annual tradition that suits all ages from young to old, so bring your friends and family. The sledding event runs from 1 PM to 3 PM on Smiuveien – a 1.2 km-long course starting next to Rødhette and Ulven. The price is 50 NOK for children and 100 NOK for adults. Between sledding runs, you can warm up inside with a sweet bite and something tasty in the glass here at Skåbu Fjellhotell. We’ll have freshly baked doughnuts, and there will also be the option to take away burgers – perfect if you want to enjoy them outdoors in the fresh air or take them home to cozy surroundings.

  • Quiz-night

    Bring your friends and family for an evening full of fun and competition! The quiz starts at 9 PM, but from 12:30 PM you can enjoy our fantastic quiz special – spareribs for only 349 NOK, including coffee and dessert! You can sign up on Facebook.
